Hello!
My name is Brandon Allen, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to my personal portfolio and website.
A little about me: I’m a proud husband, devoted father, and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who transitioned into a career as a well-rounded designer. After sustaining a leg injury during a fall, I made the difficult decision to leave the military. However, this challenge led me to discover my passion for architecture and design—a path that has brought fulfillment and provided a great life for my family.
I’m deeply committed to being an asset to every team I’m part of and supporting those around me. I thrive on tackling tough challenges and find immense joy in seeing designs come to life.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I hope you enjoy exploring my work!
How it all started
In 2013, I embarked on a journey to earn my degree in Drafting & Design Technology. During my studies, I gained proficiency in industry-standard tools such as AutoDesk AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and BIM. This foundation led to a role at MGM Resorts Architecture, where I worked while completing my degree and graduating as valedictorian in 2015.
After graduation, I transitioned to designing and drafting brand hotels, including Hilton, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Avid, LaQuinta Inn, Homewood Suites, and Best Western, among others. My expertise also extends to creating construction documents for multi-family residential projects and shopping centers, showcasing a diverse and comprehensive skill set.
